Dave’s Early Years

Dave was born in Shropshire on 1st August 1974 and from an early age it was clear that he was going to be unique. Here we see baby Dave posing for the camera in his birthday suit - an outfit he can still be seen wearing in public these days.

Dave was always a bit of a looker, and this second photo is one his Dad, Allan, fondly refers to as the “pig in a bucket”, complete with trotters.

Despite his innocent face, young Dave was never far from trouble. In just one day, aged four, he managed to throw cereal all round the kitchen, spray home-brew beer all over the garage, climb up a set of shelves and end up in hospital after eating his Mum’s medicine. That’s more than he achieves in a week these days.
